A premier eco-industrial complex developer with over 125,000 square feet of lease space and available acreage for development has a 1.5 MW solar installation that has been approved by the New Jersey Clean Energy Program and will be installed on approximately 5 acres of land at the site pending local permit and bond approvals.
This installation will be among the largest in New Jersey and will provide a myriad of benefits to our tenants and local community. These benefits include:
- Lower cost electricity for the Complex's tenants
- Source of Solar Renewable Energy Credits (SREC’s) for purchase to offset carbon footprint and emissions by energy producing entities
- Hands on training facilities for local Sustainable Energy Technician programs
We plan to begin site preparation and installation for the solar array during the Second Quarter 2008 and be operational and on line by the end of the year.
The site's owner has chosen to use over 3,300 SCHOTT Solar ASE-300 Photovoltaic Modules supplied by Cynergy Group East. These modules will be installed on single tracking axis to provide optimal output at all times.
